Method to make Tandoori Paneer Tikka:

  1. Instead of using food colouring, we’re giving paneer tikka that bright yellow hue by using saffron strands. Take some saffron strands in a bowl.
  1. Add milk and mix it well.
  1. Drizzle the saffron milk in the marinade we made.
  1. Toss the marinate gently and let it sit for ½ hour. You can add the smoky flavour by placing a hot charcoal in the centre of the marinade and pouring a teaspoon of ghee over charcoal. When the fumes appear, you can quickly cover the bowl and let the fumes set in for 15-20 minutes for a smoky flavour.
  1. Now, take a pan and add 1-2 oil and let it warm.
  1. Carefully place the marinated paneer cubes one by one on tawa.
  1. Let them cook till they turn golden brown from all sides.
  1. Be careful not to overcook it as the paneer may turn rubbery and chewy.
  1. Once the paneer tikka is cooked, gently put it on a plate and sprinkle some Genie Food Chaat Masala on paneer tikka.
  1.  Enjoy this delicious delicacy with some mint chutney or ketchup.
