Method to make Potato Bites with Genie Food Group:
- Firstly, take a large bowl and add three boiled, mashed potatoes to it.
- Then, add 1/2 Cup bread crumbs and 2 Tbsp corn flour. Both of these ingredients help absorb excess moisture from the potatoes.
- After that, add 3/4 Tbsp Genie Food Garlic Paste, 1 Tbsp Genie Food Chilli Flakes, 1 Tbsp Genie Food Mixed Herbs, 1/4 Tbsp Pepper Powder, & 1/2 Tbsp Salt.
- Bind the spices and potatoes well with each other properly till it forms a soft dough.
- If the dough feels sticky, add 1 Tbsp of breadcrumbs and mix it. Keep this dough aside for some time.
- Later, take a bite-sized aloo mixture and mould it into a cubical shape.
- Dip this cubical potato mix in corn flour slurry and coat it evenly on all sides.
- Then, take it out and roll it into a plate of breadcrumbs. Make sure the potato is all covered with breadcrumbs. It ensures a crispy texture after frying.
- Now, in a deep-frying pan, add some oil and let it boil for some time.
- Add these potato cubes to the frying pan and let them fry from all sides till they are golden brown.
- Stir occasionally. Once the potatoes are fried, transfer them to a plate with tissue placed at the base. The tissue helps remove excess oil from fried foods.
Finally, serve these potato bites with tomato sauce and green chutney. Make sure to make this on a chill or rainy day!
